I got my date!!

Well my date is May 25th! Yes I am excited but @ 30 yrs old I am nervous but more excited. I am extremly annoyed with everyone saying arn't you scared or nervous? STOP I wasn't till you all keep askin me! YES I am up @ night thinking You could die do you want to do this? Can someone give me a great pep talk?????? I am sick of getting worried & cryin being off of birth control is making my nerves worse!

Carrie, I know how you feel. i am 52 almost 23 and my date is May 9th. I was very excited untill I read last night on the main board that to people have died one after a few weeks and one five years out, of different things. I was really depressed after that. I then got to thinking look at all the people who have had the surgery and are living to tell us about it. Also look at te odds of getting in a car accident everythime we get in a car. But that doesn't stop me from driving. Yes there are dangers with this surgery but then thee is dangers in all surgeries. Also look at the health risk you have by not having the surgery. When I weighs all the good against the bad the good out weighs the bad. I hope this helps you. You are in my prayers. Hang in there. Penny
