Where are You?

The people who had Surgery this week should have posted by now. We are praying. Make sure we all have people who can post for us even if we are in the hospital. I put my son to the task. Or most of us have Angels. If not get on on this board. We need to know by the end of the week how the people in surgery have done!! Barb in CA

Hi, my name is Rosemary, I live in New Jersey and I just joined and had banding on May 2nd. Was home by 1:30 PM. I'm sore and my port site hurts. I feel like there's a foreign object in my body. At my pre op meeting everything was explained to me and it pretty much went as scheduled. My only problem was that during surgery Dr. Bertha found that my liver was enlarged and had to be repositioned. He told my husband that he put a different size band on to make me more comfortable. I'll ask about that at my post op visit on the 11th. I thought I'd be back to work in a few days but I can see that I'll need a few weeks to recuperate. The gas is finally out of my system!!

Thanks for replying. HOpe you heal fast!. My Lap band is on May 20th. Rest and know that you have the rest of your life to get healthy and to work! Thanks post on the main Board for May so all will know!! Barb in CA
