surgery prep question

I had my surgery this past Wednesday. I did not have to do any kind of prep either. I actually called the surgeon's office the day before to make sure I did not misunderstand anything. They told me not to have anything to eat or drink after midnight and that was all I had to do. The office did say that they are thinking of changing their protocol to involve a prep before surgery, but they haven't gotten there yet. Good luck on your surgery.
