I wrote something tonight about what all happened to me this past week while preparing for my surgery. How I felt, what I went thru. If you haven't had to do your fasting and such yet, don't let me scare you away! I don't know if my week was "typical", but I didn't lie or hold anything back! http://www.epinions.com/content_4338131076 I couldn't sleep from being nervous, and excited, so here I sit! I had to be to the hospital in 3 1/2 hours!! After the long week I can't believe it's almost finally here!! Everyone is sleeping except me. I'm hoping to catch a quick nap, but am not holding my breath! Good luck to any others having their surgery today, or even the rest of the month!!

Lisa-- Loved your blog! I think I didn't really expect anything different. My doc sent me for a lower GI last month, and the prep is basically the same. Luckily I have a private bathroom off my bedroom, and I just camp out with a good book and let nature take its course. For the sore bottom, stay away from tp and use the Charmin wet wipes or comparable product. By now, I expect you're all done. Let us know how the surgery went. --Lee
