May 3, 2005.....and so..so...excited

Hi, After one round of appeal, I am approved and ready to go on May 3, 2005. I am doing liquids on my own this week, just to prepare and shrink the liver a bit more.I have already lost my 10 required lbs, but more will certainly not hurt. Besides, it is Passover now, and I have no problem not eating matzah and the many things that are made from it. I am going for pre-op blood work and an ekg tomorrrow, and a pre-surgery information session at the hospital Wednesday.I am still trying to work out the logistics of getting the kids on the school bus next Tuesday, if I happen to be the early surgery of the day.I am sure it will all work out. Wishing everybody on the May 2005 board much luck with their surgery, a quick recovery,and lots of lost pounds!!! Marcia

Thanks, Marcia! And congratulations on getting approved after only 1 appeal! That's REALLY nice! Well, now comes the hard part... WAITING!
