NEW HERE!

HELLO EVERYONE I JUST WANTED TO SAY HI AND INTRODUCE MYSELF. MY NAME IS JAIME AND I AM HAVING THE BYPASS ON MAY 4TH. I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE HERE LIVES IN OR AROUND CORAL SPRINGS, FL OR IS HAVING THERE SURGERY DONE BY DR. TOMASELLO? I AM SO EXCITED AND ANXIOUS! I HAVE PEOPLE TELL ME I CAN DIE AND I TELL THEM I CAN DIE NOW FROM BEING FAT. I WOULD RATHER TAKE THAT CHANCE IN LIFE THEN TO LIVE LIKE THIS ONE MORE DAY. GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE! JAIME PRE OP 284

You go girl! People tell me the same thing and I tell them I could get hit by a car too but that doen't mean that I am going to stay in the house. I am scheduled for the 10th of May day after my birthday. Good way to start a new year. I will be thinking of you on the 4th. I am new here too! Take care Nancy

I am like you two, new here and I have heard the whole you don't need it and we can diet together but this is coming from folks who may have a BMI of 35 whereas mine is at 60+. My response is sure we can diet together now but my surgery is 5/23 and nothing but God will keep me away from it. I am 5ft tall and I weigh over 300 lbs. I am the poster child for this surgery, and I plan to be one of the next success stories. I will pray for the both of you and your success.

Hi Kari, It took a long time for people to realize that I am serious about this surgery. I just came back from the drs and I am all set to go I have met my weight loss and now it is just a waiting game and making sure that I do not put any back on as the dr said he would cancel is I do not keep the weight off.
