WLS..which procedure

I have a surgery date of May 5...but still confused about which procedure ...I have a visit with my surgeon on April 28...at that point a decissoin has to me made...please give me some input...

well my last office visit we talkesd about banding, but I'm still confunse about the RNY.....I have heard alot of people discuss that on this site.

Lap Band on 05/09/05

I'm going to be banded on May 9th. The weight loss is slower, but the surgery is much safer. It's also adjustable, and more easily reversable. However my brother had bypass and has been doing very well. I suggest you research, research, research. Spend some time on the message boards for each procedure and surf the net as much as you can.
