My surgery date is May 24th......I am doing a happy dance! :-)

I was soo surprised when I called my insurance company today to see where they were in the process and was told that it was approved. I had to ask the rep. is she was positive. I would love to hear from others who are having surgery in May as well!!!! So, please write! Dawn

Hi Dawn! I just learned yesterday that my date is 5/24 as well! I am still awaiting approval from Ins company but my Program coordinator assures me I will be covered! I have to start an Optifast program next week to lose 25-30 lbs BEFORE surgery! Ugh! Shakes and whatnot... I think that will be the hardest thing. Surgery doesn't even worry me! Jaimi K.

Hi Jaimi, My date just got bumped up to May 17th....WOW, only 3 weeks and 6 days away!

I am also doing the happy dance... I found out I was approved and I went to the surgeons office and waited to see scheduling rep...I got a date of May 24th also! Congrats and best wishes....as we go through the journey! Retta in TN 250/???
