I have known about my date since Thursday, but I am still really excited. I am having a Lap RNY. So looking forward to being on the "other side". There seems to be so many bariatric foods and drinks on the market. Has anyone heard any great tips on what works and tasts good?

Lucky! Wish I had your date so this could be over! I'll be studying for finals while you are starting a new life. Good luck and let me know how you are doing. What procedure are you having?

My finals end on the 10th!! Which I have a doc appointment that day for pre-op last min stuff! Thank the Lord I don't have a final that day! I will keep posted probably on the main message board but I will try to here too! I'm supposed to be having LAP RNY!!! Depends on my liver!! I'm hoping and praying I can have it lap. What procedure are u having? ~April~

April, I'm having the lap RNY as well. Good luck on your finals. What are you taking in school? What are your finals on? Mine are my first year RN finals. I will be too excited to study!

Sharon, GOOD luck! My surgery is also on 5/23, but in San Diego, CA. It is confusig about all the new foods....Right now I'm eating (drinking) almost exclusively ProRated Protein Powder from Costco....You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Peg Marcus
