Surgery Postponed

My surgery was set for May 3rd, but I went to have my EKG done and they found something they didn't like so I had to into the hospital and they found that one of my artery's was 75% blocked so they had to put a stent in it to open it up. Which pushed my surgery out until July.

Brenda, An must have been with you, and now that they have the artery cleared up, you should take this time to do some rest and make you stronger and healthier than ever! I have surgery scheduled May 2nd, but I have to go the 21st to have the radioisotope stress test run....soooooooooo...I might be walking a mile in your shoes too. God Bless! Brenda, I was in your shoes last week. I was scheduled april 29, pushed back till May 18 due to scheduling error, scheduled when my surgeon was on vacation... I was down, too. Please keep strong and confident. It will be here before we both know it... Sometime the set backs are all part of the plan. I wish you the best of luck, and a shoulder to moan on. Laura

Brenda, thank God they found that clogged artery! I know it is disappointing to have to wait, but by July, you'll be in tip-top shape and physically ready for the surgery. God bless! Hugs, Tracy
