I have a surgery date!

I am sooo happy! I had been anxiously waiting for a response from my surgery and also scared, because two of my friends were denied, and they were way bigger than me, so I thought I would be denied too. Surprise, surprise! I called my doctor's office today to see if the lady that has my case had heard of anything, and she told me I had been approved. Imagine my shock when she told me my pre-op will be April 27 and the surgery will be done May 2!! I am so thankful to God for making this dream come true. I can't wait for this new phase in life. I just wanted to share my joy with everyone. Bye!

Congratulations Gloria!! I am joining you on May 2nd!! I had my preop March 23rd. My original date (lapband)was 4/7 but insurance denied me and I had to appeal. May 2nd is a GREat DATE!!!! Good luck to you and best health to both of us!!

Congratulations Gloria! I did the same thing. I called today and found out I have to go next Monday for pre-op tests and have surgery May4th. I figured there would be at least a 6 or 8 week wait. Angie

Congrats Gloria! I'm right behind ya girl! Just got a call today that my surgery is scheduled for May 5th! I'm excited and scared at the same time..but look at it this way...when I am in agony..you will be past the worst part...LOL Wishing you all the best *HUGGS*
