GOT MAY 10TH ? ANYONE

Just found out on Monday. It was a year ago that I made an intial appointment. Which was for December 6, 2004. Then we filed papers on December 31. Medicaid called March 28 granting an approval. I am floating on a cloud. But yet the nerves are also there. I have been reading, reading and reading. My sister had this done in 12/03. So I talk to her all the time and she has given me lots and lots of info. I am really interested in finding someone that is going through this that is in a simular situtation. That being Morbid Obese, I weigh 467. I have a less supportive husband. Plus I am the primary care giver for 2 children and husband with mental illness. So very high stress level.

Hi Wendee, I am a fellow May 10ther! I will be having my surgery at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. I am so relieved to finally have a date! I had one, but I got pneumonia and had to cancel the surgery, so I am very happy to have a new date now. Take Care, Deanna

Hi Wendee, I also am having surgery on may 10th. Congratulations on finally getting a date after so long. Im sorry to here about the no support from your husband. I am around 425. That is good you have your sister to talk to about it. There seems to be a nice amount of us who are having the surgery on or around the same day. Jess

Congrats Wendee!! I am also scheduled for May 10th at Parma Community Hosp. I know what you mean about floating on a cloud...I am so excited and so nervous at the same time. It's great you have your sister to help with the info. I am hoping that all of us May 10th people stay in touch after the surgery to give each other support seeming that we will all be going through same thing. It will be nice to have that kind of support for each other and to offer suggestions as to what is working and what is not. Kim B.

HI WENDY, I AM ALSO HAVING SURGERY ON MAY 10. @ DESERT HOSPITAL IN PALM SPRINGS, CA, I WEIGHT 330 LBS AND HAVE BEEN HEAVY ALL MY LIFE SO NOW IM READY TO MAKE A CHANGE FOR THE BETTER, HOPE EVERY THING GOES VERY WELL DURING OUR SURGERY, AND PLZ KEEP US POSTED ON HOW THINGS WENT, I KNOW I WILL.
