5 day pouch test..join me
Thanks Kimber,
I had the same experience. My pouch is feeling small again as well. Some of us are going again this Monday. I want to lose a few p;ounds and continue to keep my stomach tight. If you want to stay in touch go to the California board and read under 5DPT to see what we are up to and start again with us if you so desire. Thanks again for your positive in put..
Jane
PS one does not need to be from California to play along you know the more the merrier.
Thanks for the info Jane. I started the diet today and I have to say - it is so much harder than I thought it would be! Just goes to show that my addiction to food was getting the better of me. It's Monday night at 8pm and I am fighting not to eat something. But I can do this! Thanks for getting this started - I needed it!
Hi Carol, I am hungry too. I emailed you I hope you got it. I'm going to have some soup later. I had some sf pudding earlier and added some protein powder and it was kind of filling. The hardest thing for me is that dog gone water. As soon as I sign off I'm going to have a big glass yum yum NOT, Keep it up Maysters. Just think we have been at this for 3 years. That is kind of amazing. Also some one actually saw me drinking a protein drink and they said. "oH is that how you stay so slim." Gosh Isn't wls incredible? I guess a little discomfort is worth it.
Good luck team.

Hello Jane, I did stick to and complete the whole 5 days. The first two days were extremely hard, especially when the tv was turned on at about 7:30pm. I thought I would go crazy! I went to bed very early those two nights! The next three days were easy in comparison. The whole experience was/is an eye opener to me. I learned that I have not been concentrating on protein first, eating lots of slider foods and slipping more and more into high carb foods - snacks. It was a good time to do this, our three year anniversary. To bring the basic rules back to the forefront. We made a lifetime commitment when we chose to have this surgery, and so many of us were slowly slipping back into bad old habits. Thank you Jane - for knocking some sense into me!
