18 Month Roll-Call
Hey all, glad to see all my wonderful friends!
I will be at 18 months on 11/24. My weight bounces between 157 and 164 depending on my water and carb intake - the more water, the lower my weight and the more carbs, the higher my weight. I am doing Weigh****chers to get off the last 10-15 pre-plastics pounds. I want to go into plastics around 145 and finish up at around my 135 goal (I'm 5-2).
I am over 140 pounds down from my starting weight of 303 and more than 160 pounds down from my highest weight of 319. I don't have too many problems with foods, but too many sugar alcohols make me sick. I still don't eat sugar, bread, pasta or rice. I did have a little brown rice a couple of times when I first joined WW since it is encouraged, but it filled me up too quickly and I'd rather save my pouch space for other things. I am still a hard core exerciser
I am incredibly blessed and am excited to begin the reconstructive surgeries maybe next summer. Anything I haven't lost by then, I will tell the plastics guy to lipo off.
May God continue to bless you all!
Hey all, I'm here - still same ol' same ol' with the pain. I have, however, gotten some mental relief. I was REALLY concerned with having to take so much Vicodin - sometimes up to 5-6/day. I was concerned about the possibility of being addicted, but checking on line I looked up addiction and there is a HUGE difference between addiction and dependance. Right now, I am dependent on them. Dependent means to need the aid of something, addiction means taking it habitually whether or not I need them. I physically need them to make it through the day most days. Some days are good and I take 0-2. A doctor told me that if I am truly taking them JUST for pain, then I will not become addicted. I'm trusting him in this. I do my Physical Therapy but it just really doesn't seem to be doing much.
Anyway, weight-wise I'm about the same, anywhere between 180-189. For a few days before and the first few days of my period I'm at the upper end. The week after my period I'm around 180. While I'm ovulating (like now) I'm around 185. It just depends. I am completely happy where I am and will likely be around 170-ish or so when I have my TT done 2/1. I am 5'8" and I am seriously skin and bones from my hips up with the exception of my extra skin. My husband thinks I'm too small now - but I just don't see it. Maybe after I have this mound of skin removed from my abdomen I may see it. I eat healthy 90% of the time, so I will just let the weight take care of itself. I wear 12/14 jeans, M/L tops (anywhere between 8-12) and that works for me. After my TT I will probably wear 10/12s.
Anyway, I am getting at least 80+ oz of water in everyday, eating lean protein, veggies, grains, and fruits, healthy oils, and occasional sf treats. I get in all of my vits, meds, and such daily.
That's about what's up with me!
Michelle
Hi everyone!
Wow, we are 18 months out...what an amazing 18 months it has been.
I have lost 160 pounds. I want to lose about 30 more before I have my tummy tuck. I have been stuck for a while. I am doing great with working out. I need to stop all "BLT's" (bites, licks, tastes). This is my problem. I have joined weigh****chers to try to keep me focused. I am so thankful for the changes in my life. I am so lucky to have had this surgery and for the support from my family, my doctor and of course all of you! Thank you!
