I haven't posted in quite a while, and just wanted to stop by with an update. I hope you are all doing well, and my thoughts go out to those who are having troubling times, family related issues, and health issues. Trust me I completely understand. The past few months have been a roller coaster for me and my family. We moved to a smaller town, in Central Coast California, but my husband had to go in May and I stayed with the kids until mid-August in LA. During that time I had a perforated ulcer and ended up with Emergency surgery, missed my daughters graduation from High School too! I got better, we completed the move, and I absolutely love small town life. I kept having pains, different pains though - not ulcer pains. My 4 yr old broke her arm at school. My father in law passed away. Then I just got the news that I'm going to be having another surgery on Tuesday. The doctors at UCLA will be doing an exploratory surgery (possibly open) to see if they can find the problems. My Father In Law's funeral is Saturday, then I'll go to Los Angeles for the surgery, and my husband and children will stay at home, about 150 miles away. I'm a little freaked out, but also hopeful that I can finally get an answer to the pain, and get on with living a healthy and happy life. On a good note, I had a wonderful Halloween with my daughters, they were so adorable, and excited. I just soaked up the moments, the memories. They are so precious. Well, that is my update, in a nutshell. Wish me luck! Deanna

Hi Deanna- you've been on my mind. I just hope they find something and are able to fix it so you can move on and be happy and healthy! When you get better and healed from your surgery we should meet for lunch! You'll be in my thoughts and prayers, my friend!
