some people are funny
Hi Maysters....
Been on a business trip (10 long days) and came home at 2am Saturday Morning. Had a wedding 2 hours north on Saturday night. Wasn't looking forward to going (neighbor's kid), but we down loaded the directions, and off we went.
Beautiful venue, wonderful DJ, yummy food. At dinner, the table of 8 boasted 4 guys and 4 gals... This is unusual in my experience with so many divorsees. The first course, lobster bisque came. I had a taste and passed it on to my husband to finish (he loves lobster bisque). The second course was ceasar salad. I had a few bites and again passed it off to my husband. Before the main course was served, a woman that I had said "Hi" to twice during the ****tail reception came running over, threw her arms around me and said "OH MY GOD!... I finally asked someone who you were and I can't believe how great you look"!!! She turned to this table of strangers and said (no lie)... She used to be HUGE!, now look at her!!
When I finally sat down to eat the main course, the women at the table were all over me about my steps to success. Before I could open my mouth one of the husbands said.... "Haven't you been watching her?... Her husband should weigh 500 lbs".... We all started laughing... I do pass a lot of my meals over to my hubby...and the dog... I never really thought about it before.... I should watch that...
The same scenario happened to me on the business trip to KC. I'd say hi to people, and they'd hi back, but then they'd say "Kate?" too weird... had a lot of laughs...
Still trying to get out of 10's and into 8's... Got a doctor's appointment at the end of the month...
Hope all is well in Maysterville.
