Let the FREEZE begin

Oh darn!!!! I had to haul out the long underwear yesterday. It was sooo cold here. I hate to turn on the furnace this early in the year,so instead I put on long undies and wore a turtle neck sweater with another sweater over that and my thickest socks!!!! Today is just as cold. I put on a sweatshirt that is WAY too big (XL) but that seems to let more cold air in around me so I gotta change into something warmer. The only skin ppl will see on me for the next 8 months will be my fingers (haha) What's it like where you live???? I'm trying to talk my dh into moving somewhere warmer but he's one of those ppl who has the fan on in the middle of winter so I'm not getting anywhere with that. laurie

You are so funny girl! Its suppose to rain here tonight and into tomorrow. Its been nice in the mornings, bout 66, then heating up to the low 80s in the daytime with a light breeze during the day. I love it, especially about 730 after the sun has went down. For the past few evenings we have been going outside and sitting on the porch after dinner. So not to cold here yet but its coming. I am one of those people who sleeps with a heating blanket but have the ceiling fan on at all times. Crazy I know but I love the humming of the fan at night. Terry turns on the blanket every night for me about 8ish so when we go to bed its nice and toasty. Needless to say the blanket is just on my side, Terry already sweats like a bear. Anyways.... Candy

It's been kind of nasty and rainy here, cool in the mornings and evenings - around 50's or so, getting up into low 70s during the day but it's been so damp and nasty it seems a lot colder... I'm with you, I've been breaking out the sweaters, as well... No long undies, yet, though.

Well, Vegas is still hot. It's about 96 degrees tonight at 7:00 p.m. Actually, that somehow feels cool. I might even want to do some gardening nowadays. I don't really mind the heat, but I do miss having a nice fall and spring that lasts more than 2 weeks! Angie
