Been away for the computer for days cuz...
I was in GRANDMA HEAVEN ! Had sooo much fun with 6 of our grandchildren this weekend. We made carmel apples together and rolled them in candy sprinkles or chopped peanuts. The kids helped and we had a ball. Although I'll warn ya, don't fall for those thick lolipop sticks w/the apples. Our craft shop had one size box of popsicle sticks ( 1,000 ) I didn't think I'd ever get around to using that many so asked a gal who was stocking the candymaking aisle and she sold me the thick white sticks - which after the apple is on and the carmel ...it goes limp. So we gave all the kiddos a baggie-glove to use to balance and eat theirs. Kids don't mind the mess.
I also had a MOM moment while I watched 4 of my kids and their spouses play ball in the front yard with all the grandkids running around. Gotta say it fills up my heart to see how much fun they have together. Watching the love between them touches me. When they were young and fought so much I wondered if they would ever really love each other, Yes, they do ( and God answers mothers' prayers )!
It was a great holiday. Lots of cooking and cutting up tons of fresh veggies. The grandkids, who have teeth, fell in love with the organic carrotts. They were so sweet. Not a bitter bite in the batch. ( at $.85 a lb. it was worth it to see them devoured )
Now speaking of teeth my little 5 yr. old grandaughter lost her 1st tooth after 48 hrs of wiggling it and every relative in town offering to pull it out for her { for free } She was so proud ! Hope the fairy ( remembered) to come around and replace it with some shiny coins. { Once when my youngest lost one of her baby teeth...the tooth fairy forgot to come and leave a prize and we had to scold that tooth fairy ( me). } I guess I'll never live that one down..
Hope everyone had an enjoyable holiday weekend.
lost .8 lb. this wk. wishing it were more but will take a loss anytime

p.s. Glad to hear Rich is OK and the visit w/ sis went well, in spite of Ernesto dear.
Howdy... I think we've met... :D
Goal - well, depends on goal... Still would love to see 149, but eh, that's just a number. I'm hovering between 151 and 154, I'm happy...
Plastics - December 12 - TT and BA - 98 (well, closer to 97) days now... Can you tell I'm excited?
Wow Moments - nah, not really, it's life at this point
Medical issues - got another doc appt Thursday. Everything came back clean. Only one BS problem since my last appt - I'm pretty sure it's jsut reactive hypo. Keeping tabs on it. Numbness comes and goes, upped my Bs, seems to be helping I guess. Gonna talk to him about testing me for B6 and B1.
Didn't ask, but I'm gonna throw it out there anyway - I'm REALLY struggling with night time eating... Like today, did great all day, got TONS of water in, high protein, low carb, low cal all day... Tonight I sat and ate 1/3 bag (small bag, at least) of mini rice cakes followed by some ham and cheese and crackers. Totally mindless. What the hell is wrong with me? Found myself doing that this weekend, too... Not happy about it. Not happy at all.
Am still here.... Still wearing a size 10 but have gained about 7 lbs from grazing which Im struggling with ....
REALLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY want to hit 100 lost and have 7 lbs to go...
No plastics.... cant afford it so unless I win the lottery it aint happening
No medical issues... so far so good....
Am satisfied... feel good... and try not to let a number rule my life!!

Hey All,
TUMMY TUCK WITH MUSCLE REPAIR ON SEPT. 21st.
Can you tell I'm scared/excited? Mainly scared at this point. Desperately need arms and boobs done, but insurance will cover the TT.
The empty nest/diarrhea diet worked wonders the last couple of weeks, lost about 8 pounds all together. Getting used to the empty nest, and the diarrhea cleared up, so am holding at 170. I had wanted to be there by the TT, so I'm happy.
Otherwise, feeling wonderful physically. Working out 4 days a week, usually 4 mile Walk Away the Pounds DVD. Wondering how long it will take to get me back at this level of exercise post-TT.
No big wow moments, my clothes are all too big, but I refuse to shop until the TT, and have some idea of where I'll end up. My mammogram this week took only a fraction of the time, and less than half of the films it used to because the boobs are so much smaller.
Good to hear how everyone else is doing.
