Weekend plans and.... What's on the menu today, gals?

I will be gone for a few days because I have the delight of family coming to town this weekend and to see my four little red-headed grandchildren!
We have soooo much fun together. They love to ask me to tell them stories about when their mom was little and all about their aunts and uncle's childhood. Boy do I have some stories!!! Needless to say we laugh ourselves silly.
They always want to know which one they are the most like. { Dare I really tell ??? }
These family traits; good, bad and just plain funny are genetically passed on and it is a particular joy I have fun with in - noting some of these talents and tendencies of exuberance and artistic expressions, going deep spiritually and those - Oh so dramatic red-head ways!!! ( I am one and 4 of my kids are also !!! ) plus their daddy was born w/red hair so when together that is 10 red heads together under one roof - Lot's of laughs and giggles and of course DRAMA
OK now on to the Menu:

B. coffee w/sf cocoa, 2 wedges of laughing cow shz w/ wh wht lt. eng muffin
S. yogurt and 2 T pumpkin seeds
L. ? friend having me for lunch but she also is post-op so it'll be pouch friendly
S. 2 wedges of L C lt chz , 1 - 7" wasa wh wht and rye cracker
D. chicken souvlaki over salad 1/2 pita and tsziki sauce w/ calamati olives (sp)
S. fruit salad in sf jello, maybe a yogurt late

weekend plans def. do not include my dysnfunctional family..... haha.... just going to keep it simple and maybe watch a movie or two... and have some time to do things slow that are always rushed when i only have two days instead of these lovely 3 days. it is going to rain a little bit this weekend, so indoor activities are fine.
I hope to catch up on sleep too.... zzzzzzzzzz.
Still caring for a sick family member and that is not too much fun, but we do what we have to do.
Menu will come as it comes, not into planning ahead too much these days, but that Chicken souvlaki sounds yummy. I love olives of all kinds. Had a yummy greek dish the other day, is that greek?

Thank you for the kind wishes, Mary!! I'm getting an MRI done today so hopefully that will shed some light on the back issue.
Tonight I'm supposed to go to a surprise bday party for one of my dearest friends. I'm hoping that I'm up for it. I'm usually okay all day and then around 6 or 7 p.m. I start to hurt again. I really want to go tonight, but we'll see.
Today's bfast was 1 slice 16-grain bread with pat of butter, 2 lf string cheese
Lunch: I'm not sure - a friend of mine is taking me to get my MRI done (as I have to be on Xanax - extrEEEmly claustrophobic) so I may take her out to lunch as a thank you. If not, then I'll maybe have some leftover chili at home, or maybe some deli meat and crackers.
Dinner will be pasta and chicken (I sautee the chicken in olive oil, garlic, and italian spices and mix it in with barilla plus pasta and top it with lf parmesean)
If I have snacks they will be fruit and/or pickles (I'm on a pickle kick lately) and/or a protein shake.

Terry started his vacation today so Im a little scared of the eating. I dont know why but it seems I always eat more when we are together. I have almost reached my weight ceiling of 150 and I got the next 10 days to face with eating. I have walked 3 miles Wed Thurs and today but have gained a half pound each day. I dont get it really. I dont think I will ever figure out this weight loss formula. Anyways this is the menu so far for today:
Pre B- a ton of coffee with splenda and skim milk
B-cereal and milk
Walked 3 miles around my subdivision
L-subway turkey wrap and 3 slices of fresh pineapple
S-1oz almonds
D-going to a cookout at Papa Kennedys house(Terrys Dads), they are having grilled chicken, hamburgers, baked beans, potatoe salad, banana pudding (personally I dont really want to go BUTTTTT what can I say right?
S-probably a protein shake or fruit

Not doing squat this weekend - just relaxing... Got my hair cut and colored today - it was in dire need. It's VERY short - LOVE IT! and has red highlights now... The only thing I'll be doing is vegging and sleeping... and maybe some grocery shopping Sunday...lol
Pre B - Nectar Shake
B - 1.5 eggs with cheese, 1.5 strips bacon
MS - grapes
L - 1/2 a ham and cheese on a hoagie, few fried
AS - protein bar
AS (at 6pm) - nsa on a slice of ww bread
D - no idea
