Monday Is Here - What are YOU eatting???
Good morning Maysters!!! It's a new week and another chance to eat healthy!! I had a "bad" weekend, not eatting-wise but just all around bad. My sister PURPOSLY tried to sabatoge my birthday party last night by bringing pie made with sugar. She begged to make me a sugar free dessert, so we settled on sf pumpkin pie (I don't like cake). I was skeptical from the get go and sure enough.... I told my dh my worry and he asked her if there was sugar in the pies and she said YUP, of course!! ggggggggrrrrrr, so I just had the tinest of pieces and didn't get sick. Some jealous ppl can be soooo freakin' MEAN!!!!! Anyway, I'm a size 4 and she's about a size 28 so guess who gets the last laugh.
So, here's the plan for today:
B - oatmeal
S - hot chocolate with protein
L - UGH, I guess tuna fish
S - cheesecake (homemade w/ splenda)
D - don't know yet... possible homemade pizza
S - sun crisps (If I've been good all day, otherwise it's fresh veggies

Not just given the fact that I dump, if someone made sugared something for me - not a bite would have crossed my lips. Grrrrrr, for sure. I sometimes don't get people.
Pre-B: Protein shake
B: Piece of quiche, 2 pieces American cheese
Pre-L: Jr. protein shake (on way to doctors)
L: Lasagna slop (noodless lasagna)
S: Protein shake
D: More lasagna slop, I guess. A few bites of SF apple crisp.
S: Protein shake.

Today Ive had so far:
Pre B-3c coffee with splenda and skim milk(3/4c all together)
B-omlet w/ egg beaters, spinach, bell pepper, onion, ham(turned out huge I could only eat half)oh yeah with ff sour cream and salsa
L-shrimp fajitas (only one tortilla)(ate out)
S-will be 1oz. almonds or other half of omlet
D-crock pot chicken and veggies
S-probably fruit of some sort as I see I have not had any today

50 oz of water so far
no exercise
B: protein drink - drank about 9/10 oz of it. I started feeling sick so I stopped.
S: wheat toast with slice of 2% American cheese and dab of butter
L: will be probably chicken salad if I can eat it with some sorta veggie - maybe carrots
D: will be bfast! I'm making eggs, bacon, wheat biscuits and gravy. I'll have some eggs, a slice of bacon, probably 1/2 a biscuit and a little gravy - if I can tolerate it.
Any other snacks today will be fruit. I got lots of fresh fruit the other day and it's so yummy. I had about 1/2 of a LARGE peach yesterday and it was sooooo delish!
I have to be honest with y'all - I'm really getting depressed. I'd say I'm about at 60% right now. Last week at this time I was about 30%. I still have difficulty eating and I can't stand or walk for any length of time - any more than about 5 minutes and my back starts to hurt. They're thinking I have two separate problems, not just one. They think I may have a bulging disk in my back that is pinching a nerve and they think that I may have an ulceration or irritation in my intestines that run along the top of my abdomen. These are just guesses at this point and we're getting further testing (an MRI and endoscopy) to see for sure. This stuff is totally disrupting my life at this point. I'm so done with it.
Well it's good that you're getting food in. When I'm in pain I can't eat nothing.
I sure hope they find out what's going on and move ahead with the plan to fix it for you!!!! I know that depression comes with frustrating illnesses. I was so depressed after my stroke, I told my husband to forget the stupid doctors who don't know nothing, just take me home, put me in bed, and wait for me to die!!! What's worse is I REALLY ment it!!! But things got better and my depression lifted as well.

I know what you mean about people being "jealous and sabotaging" and sometimes I do it to myself too.... !! ;)
so far today..
b - protein shake (30 g protein)
s - coffee 2 of em!!
L - 2 mballs and 1 cup of zuch and yellow squash
s - 1/2 cup of low fat granola (yummy - not typical but fast and easy!)
D - not sure yet... prob something light like yogurt/bluerries and
a salad with low fat cheese on it
snack.... pretzel sticks and a low fat dip i made last night for the emmys!!
lots of water (like 4 big bottles and all the vits)
no exercise today, too busy of a monday, but will make it up this week
at goal, but want to get down 5 pounds more as a cushion!
