My GI visit

It went very well - the doc was SUPER nice. Of course, I woke up this morning feeling pretty good - not much in the way of upset tummy. I ate a banana before I left, made me a little nauseous but not too bad. Drove the 1-1/2 hours to the doc and he did an exam, checked everything that had already been done and said it doesn't seem like anything major. All of the tests that had already been done are ones that he would have done to check for major things and they're all completely normal which is good. My bilirubin is VERY slightly elevated but nothing to be concerned about. Just maybe get it rechecked in a few months or something, but everything else that would indicate a problem related to the elevated bilirubin (other liver tests) were normal. He said I may have a slight ulceration or irritation in my intestines, but probably not in the pouch area and he's doing an endoscope on 9/11. After the visit hubby and I went to lunch at Red Robin and I had 1/2 of a sandwich and a couple of fries, and felt fine - so that's good. I was feeling SOOO good, that I decided I go do some grocery shopping! I was getting low on food. Felt great until about 5 minutes into the store then my back started killing me again. Sigh...but, I've got food for the next few days, though!! I'm just laughing about it now, cuz I can't do anything else. Michelle
