Hye Maysters, The cruise was fabulous, I made lots of new friends , only gained a pound, and had a wonderful time. SO much so, that I am in the process of booking another before the yr is over...sans mother and son! Anyone want to go? its looking really cheap for November a 3 day Bahamas leaving from Miami under $300! Hows everything with you guys???

Hi Aliya, I would love to go, but it's not in the cards for me right now. We are headed to Catalina Island (off CA) in October for the Jazz Festival, and then on a cruise ourselves in Jan/Feb. It's for a week and tours the western Carribbean. The best part is that it's an Oldies Cruise and they have several 50's/60's bands play (Paul Revere & the Raiders, The Comets, Grass Roots and The Buckingtons). One night there is a sock hop and everyone comes in costume. It is loads of fun. We did it last year with my parents, sister and hubby and a bunch of relatives. We had such a great time that we're doing it again this year. Unfortunately, it's not as cheap as $300 -- but we are so looking forward to it! I'm glad you had a good time. It sounds like you did well with the food being available 24/7. I found that they have many good healthy choices and sugar free desserts when you want a treat. I just had to remember that I didn't have to taste everything! Angie
