Are you on a schedule?
I was just curious who eats on a schedule? Im sure for those of you who work probably do but was curious about this. I have developed 5 eating times thruought the day and notice if I stick to those times Im not as hungry unless I eat in between or go later. I get up every morning at 8 am and eat breakfast at 10. I eat lunch at 1 have my snack at 5 and have dinner at 730. I usually have a snack at 9 or 930 and go to bed by 10. Do you eat by a certain time table or just when you get hungry? I know before surgery I never ate by a certain time because I ate alllll the time! I didnt have a time to eat or not eat. I think its neat now how Ive got my body trained to eat on this pattern. Just curious when do you eat?

Hi Candy,
You know... I was on a schedule the first 14 months... and was so dilligent about this and now I am very good about certain things... ie: I have a protein shake mon-fri at my office. I take my vitamins 7 days a week like I am supposed to. But lunch and dinner are anybodys guess. I do eat every few hours but its not always as healthy as it used to be. My job for the past 6 weeks has been incredibly busy and there has been a very ill family member that I rush home to care for. I dont know when my situation is going to change. The family member could stay ill for a long time and I am kind of stuck. Insurance does not pay for medical care?
Soooooo. I hope I am not setting myself up. I am not gaining... but I dont feel as healthy as I did 6 weeks ago. I guess sometimes "life gets in the way?"
I do miss my 'schedule' and sometimes I wish I lived alone and was an orphan..... lol
boy... that is a long winded answer... guess I needed to vent? lol

I'm pretty good with a schedule during the week, but the weekends are bad.
During the work week:
Protein shake on the way into the office at 6:30
Breakfast at 7:30-8:00am
Snack around 10
Lunch between 11:30 and 12
Snack around 3
Dinner - anywhere between 6 and 8... if it's later, I usually throw another small snack in around 5 or 6
Don't typically eat after dinner.
On the weekends, it's pretty much a free-for all... I usually get something to eat by 9 and then maybe some sort of "lunch" around noon or 1 and a couple of snacks. I'm pretty freestyle about it - probably not the best, I just eat when I feel like I'm burning low...
I totally eat on a schedule. Weekends are less structures which isn't good but weekdays I'm very structured.
5-5:30 Protein shake on the way to gym
7:30 Protein shake on the way from gym to work
9:30 Breakfast
12-12:30 Lunch
3:30 Protein shake and maybe a piece of cheese
6:30-7:00 Dinner
9:30 Protein shake and maybe a SF ice cream/snack/piece of cheese
