I don't like to whine but I feel really bad today. My head aches and my lungs are teasing asthma and we went to get a load of mulch this am but it is so muggy and hot I just can't bear it outside (to get my garden work done).
I think it's mostly allergies ( the respiratory part) but my fibromyalgia is kicking my butt with my neck and back and it makes me want to cry. ... Michelle, I KNOW you know what I mean.
I miss you all and have been gone pretty much since Thurs. so have been reading and catching up with the news this morning, of our dear Maysters.
If ya read this, say a little prayer or wish good thoughts my way, please.
I think I'm gonna bite the bullet and go back to bed. I acatually broke down and took a oxycodone last night and it did allow me to sleep for 7 hrs. straight !!! (which never ever happens) so hoped I would feel so much better ...but maybe later the relief will come.
I hope your weekend is going well,
Affectionately,
Mary
Hi Mary,
So sorry to hear how badly you are feeling today. It sounds like you really need to listen to what your body is telling you and rest. I have a good friend with fibro, and I know how much she struggles with it on a constant basis. I think those of us who don't have it can't truly understand what you have to go through.
May you have a better day tomorrow, and let someone else spread all that mulch around to save your lungs.
Debra M.

I just wanted to thank you sweet May ladies for the kind thoughts and prayers. Especially Candy, Kathy, Debra, Michelle and Wanda for your posts and kind encouraging words.
I wish I could say I am feeling better but I would be lying. Every joint and muscle aches still. I plan to see my doc this week and it's time for blood work and actually I am thinking of asking him to do another test for Lymes disease which I had a bad case of a few yrs ago and had to be on antibiotics for 2 yrs. because we discovered it a long time after it's onset. It had gotten into most joints. The way 'everything' is hurting seems a little bit more than just the fibro ( but fibro is a tricky rascal and can effect the whole body also.) * Our area is a high Lymes /tick incident area and I've been working in the yard alot and we live right next to the deep woods.
I made myself go outside and put the mulch around one garden yesterday morning. It was remarkably cool in contrast to Sunday. Then I set a border for my cottage garden with some stones we got from a local park escavation site we visited Sun. eve. (with permission). With that done tried to get to the pool to find out that our other local indoor pool is now closed till the 6th.( that makes both of my old reliables closed ) So boo hoo, there went my plan to work out gently in the water to ease the aches.
I took an 800 mg Motrin ( not best choice for wls ) and began to feel human again after 30-40 min. I plan to get some advice about pain management from the doc.
Later when the pain came back full force took 2 generic tylenol pm. didn't really get sleepy BUT it was a huge help w/the pain.
* Struggling for several years with chronic pain I have 2 motto's/mantra's:
1.) I REFUSE TO LET PAIN BEAT ME.
2.) EVERY DAY DO A LITTLE MORE THAN YOU 'THINK' YOU CAN DO.
I sincerely appreciate each one of you,
Thankyou for caring,
Mary
