Snacking/grazing avoidance strategy

Stolen...I mean borrowed from someone on the main message board... Before you take that first bite of snack, sit down and count from 1 by 1 up to the number of pounds you have lost. So, in my case, 1 to 114. And do it slowly savoring each pound of it. Wonder if this will ward off the snack urge. Couldn't hurt. Kathy

Here's an alternative... Before you take a bite of a snakck, sit down and count 1 by 1 from 0 to the number of calories in said snack...

Thanks for sharing this idea. I love ideas that can be tried to distract myself from the urge/drive to graze. It would be cool to hear how it works as we try this out. Mary
