Going to a gastro

My PCP is sending me to a gastroenterologist to see what's up. My abdominal pain is pretty much gone but I'm having very strange reactions to food right now. My back is still totally spazzed out and I'm on muscle relaxers like candy. As far as my tummy goes and the strange reactions, I seriously eat 3-4 bites of something and I get that "don't eat another bite" feeling. I'm not full, but I just can't eat anymore. I've also noticed that I'm getting TONS more gas when I eat than before. That seems to trigger my back spasms which is strange. I have lost about 15 pounds in the last 3 weeks. Yesterday I was at 191 (on my period) and I had been hovering around 205 or so. Last Tuesday (the day I was supposed to have my surgery) I was 199, so that's 8 pounds in one week. I honestly am not that thrilled with this because it scares me that I'm not able to eat anything and I'm feeling so strange when I do eat and I'm losing so much so fast. This thing has me really concerned. Michelle

Best wishes Michelle, every step in the path to discovering what is going on is important. Hope he can detect what's wrong. The stomach is a muscle and Fibro attacks the muscles. If one muscle group is set off it sets off the next/nearest group. Not unlike dominoes. Sometimes my doc gives me a shot of Magnesium laced with B12 and vit C w/lidocane. If my muscles are spazzing out of control. If our muscles are starving for magnesium or potassium they will over-react to any negative stimulation. { voice of experience } Praying for healing and comfort and peace in the storm.
