Dumping...Again
I'm dumping right now on a Power Crunch bar, no less. Yikes!
Not sure why - when I've been having one per day after the gym. This morning I didn't but I had it this afternoon and whammo 2 hours later... pain. This might explain my dumping Sunday evening. I thought it was the salad dressing from dinner made with balsamic vinegar but perhaps it was a delayed Power Crunch reaction.
Now I'm wondering if my daily Power Crunch bar is also responsible for my recent weight gain. I know it is only 195 cals a day but if my body doesn't like 'em and is reacting to 'em one never knows. I had eaten them before but only every so often. I've put them into the regular diet over the past couple of weeks as I worked out harder and what-do-you-know - weight gain ever since. Hmmm, I never made the connection til now.
Only way to know is to quit 'em. Drat it. I liked 'em. LOL!
And for me, dumping is abdominal bloating (visible bloating - not just the sensation of bloating), abdominal pain to the point where my belly hurts to the touch, hard to stand up straight, feeling like there is pressure on my bladder due to the bloating, etc. Sunday it lasted for hours and hours and didn't feel better til I could lay down. So I'll lay down in a while and see if that helps.

Not the POWER CRUNCH BARS !!! Kathy, I grieve with you the loss. Maybe being off them for a while then trying to introduce them only 1x or 2x a wk. Hate to say bye forever
I had a weird episode today after swimming. I got shakey and had a strange feeling like I might pass out. I drank about 10 oz. water then went to the car and ate a cheese stk and a few baked chee-tos. It went away in about 10 min. It happened last week once after swm. too.
I had eaten yogurt and a chz stick and a handful of chee-tos for lunch before swimming today so makes me doubt it was a dump but felt alot like the lo blood sugar shakes. Just puzzling, why tho ...after a good serving of protein prior to the swim/water jogging????
Guess it's time for some { more } detective work, Ugh.
