Gaining
...and I'm not panicing. Strangely, I'm not jumping to cut way back or anything. Weird, eh?
I was 160 for a couple of weeks (down as low as 158 for a few days). Then up to 162 two Fridays ago. Then last Friday up to 163.5. Now I'm up to 166.5. Oh boy! Fun, fun, fun.
I don't think I'm eating enough calories to warrant all this. Some of it? Perhaps. But all of it... no way. Did actually have some carbs on Sunday but that only seemed to yield 1 lb this time by Monday morning. Had 1/3 of a half of a bagel and a few bites of hash browns along with eggs. A rareity for me. Just felt like it for a change.
I have been working out more over the past couple of weeks. Today looks like I'll take in about 1700 cals and given 1.5 hours at the gym... that should be fine.
We'll see. I have been lax on water. Not good. Need to work on that. A project for tomorrow. Got 40 oz in plus 16.9 propel. Definitely not enough.

Hi Kathy, Hard to get the scale to drop the past week. Ate 1/2 chicken souvlaki platter over lettuce Fri. nt and it comes with calamata (sp) olives and lots of feta cheese, very salty. The scale moved up 2 lbs. Then last nt. I picked out the leftover chicken chunks and ate the olives and about a Tablespoonful of the feta and the scale was up another pound this am. Now I'm aware the salt causes fluid retention and all so I'm not frantic but I sure hate when the scale bobs around and lands in an upward stroke. Ugh! One thing that seems true for me is that the scale bobs around alot and even when in a dropping lbs. mode it drops then bobs a bit up and then down and up like it's trying to find it's equalibrium. ( I just couldn't resist the bobbing image ) I have been upping the water alot too and sooner or later am sure it will prove a blessing.
