I'm doing pretty good. Trying to get back on track and upping my protein/exercise. I am down 125lbs but I still want to lose another thirty. My real goal to to be "half" of what I was before. That puts my goal at 156. 34lbs away. I dont know if that is obtainable but I am sure gonna try. I am looking to have plastics in Feb. Boob lift and implant. I am 24 and DO NOT look like a 24yr old in that region. It is really depressing for me. Well that is my update!

Hey Melissa! Best wishes in your pursuit of your goal and plastics next years. Geez, 24 year old breasts. I wouldn't mind 46 year old breasts... instead I have 96 years old breasts. Keep up the great work! Kathy

Hey everybody! I'm still here. I've been hovering around 235 lbs for 2 months. I would sure like to get under 200. I started at 384, so I can't complain. I exercise like a maniac every day. I have become addicted to it. I never thought in a million years that would happen to me! I feel great. I'm strong. All health issues are completely gone! My life is filled with so much now. It feels great! Lori

Greeting all Maysters ! So happy to see so many arrive for roll call I am feeling like a new person physically. My BP is normal !!! No more diabetes ! Actually battling lo- blood sugar. Before wls almost every system in my body was in crisis. I lived in severe chronic pain. Gratefully it is no longer so, thank God. I still struggle with arthritis and Fibromyalgia but I can say that losing this weight has lifted a huge burden on my joints and muscles and the pain issues are lessened a great deal, I do so wish we could take anti-infalmmitory meds tho. Maybe they will discover one we wls post-ops can safely use. I have been a little more faithful getting to the pool to exercise and it so eases the Fibro issues for me. ( I always think of Lori when I nudge myself to get out there and exercise. Yay Lori ! Our own Mayster's cheerleader ) Example is a powerful thing. I have lost a smidgen over 90 lbs. I am bringing up the rear as the 'turtle' among the 'rabbits'. The first 50 lbs. came off fairly easily but since then I have worked very hard to move every pound that has come off. I used to be very hard on myself and feel "less than" others because my loss was sooo slow but have gotten over that for the most part. I have about 38 more lbs. to my goal. One thing that I am really happy about is that I find myself eating much more fruit and veggies and enjoying them lots and lots. Grazing in the evening is always a temptation. Making jello w/ fruit last night may have won an award in keeping me straight. It was very pretty layered w/ cool whip in parfait glasses. I made myself wait till later in the evening to serve it and just looking forward to it was a help to : STAY OUT OF THE KITCHEN !!!! It is so encouraging to drop in here nearly every day and see whats up with everyone. It is a huge support and I am very grateful to each of you. Your posts mean more than you may guess. So keep dropping in and sharing your journey with us. Okay I appreciate every one of you. Bless ya, Mary

Mary, I'm with you on the slower weight loss side of things. But, boy do I feel great! I deal with joint pain issues as well, but, it has certainly gotten much better. Hang in there, the long-term race does not always go to the swiftest loser! Big Hugs! Lori

Thanks for the encouragement Lori, You are such a blessing! Enjoy your weekend. OT ( is it terribly hot out there too???) today it is supposed to be milder and I just got home from swimming and errands and it does seem better. Last night it was 99 degrees at 7:30 when we passed the bank w/time & temp. It was too hot to be out even to water the garden till early this am. In DC the pavement got up to 164 and the slides on swingsets was much higher. I just have to pray for all the workers who have to work out in the sun and heat. Stay cool. Mary
