Happy August...New Gaol?
Just saying "HI"
Can you believe that we are heading to 15 months post op!!
I am on the count down to my 20yr reunion. I have bought my plane ticket and paid for my dinner. Just need to hit the gym hard between now and Sept 21st! I am really happy to have a short term goal again! And I need a new outfit!
Do you have a new goal planned??
Hey, Jen!
Yea, 15 months... wow!
Hubby will be 2 years post-op this coming Saturday. My how time has flown by.
My goal at this point is to just workout hard this month. I'm seeing my family, extended family and friends on Labor Day weekend for a surprise birthday party for my sister. (Plus I get to meet my Dad's main squeeze for the first time.) I'm using the event as an incentive. I'm trying to be more toned by then. I'd like to see some changes on the tape measure. Cannot predict how much but I'd love to see some changes here or there.
I've stopped thinking about the scale. Well, I do still weigh daily (a few times daily actually) and fluctuate between 158 and 163 for the moment. I'd prefer to fluctuate between say 155 and 159 but I'll take it. LOL!. I got my lowest body fat % reading today of 25.5%. I'd love to see that down 1-1.5% in the next month. Trying not to expect too much, ya know?
Good luck with getting ready for the reunion. You already look fabulous so anything from here out will be gravy, ya know?

I can't help but step on the scale several times a day! Oh Well...it is just a habit I will have to learn to live with. I went 2 weeks without the scale while I was away at camp this summer but as soon as I walked in my house to the scale I went!
My weight fluctuates between 152-156 and I havent lost anything since Jan! But my clothes fit better every day. Go muscle weight!
I was never fat or thin in high school. I just want to look my very very very best for 37 years old!
Hiya Jen! 15 months already! Since I've recently joined Jazzercise and it's available to me 5 times a week, my goal is to take advantage of those 5 times!!! I love the classes: they are fun and boy to I work up a sweat. I'm always sore the next day which is a good thing. As far as weight, I'm happy and always floating anywhere in the low 130's....saw 127 ONCE and the next day it was gone. But really, I am happy where I am and my goals are to tone up as much as possible. I feel thin but I don't feel fit...I want to be firm! I'm going to ignore the scale as much as possible because I'm going to be building some muscle. So basically, exercise is my number one goal.
My short term goal is to get to 155. That's just 10 more pounds, but I've been stuck at 165 for a couple of months now. I definitely need to exercise, exercise, excercise!!! I'm starting a new job on the 14th that is going to give me more time back with my family and to take care of me. Hopefully I'll be able to incorporate that into my new routine.

Sounds like the "E" word....EXERCISE....is at the top of evryones list.
I can't tell you guys how happy I am that I found my niche with water aerobics. It has been harder this summer to get to the other cardio and weight machines since my daughter is out of school. So as soon as she goes back it is back to being a gym rat!
