Snackers Club: Weekend Report
Last week was a model week for me. Perfect Monday through Friday. No grazing, no eating past dinner. Just picture perfect.
Then the weekend came and it was nonstop grazing from the time I got up Saturday morning until the time I went to bed last night. I did make healthier snack choices some of the time by grabbing some raw veggies to munch. But other times, the choices were pretty bad. Couple that with the fact that I hosted yet another birthday party Saturday for my sister and nephew, so there was no shortage of junk in the house.
Anyway, I'm back on track today and I expect another good week, but fear the upcoming three-day weekend (I'm off on Friday). I can see that weekends and days off are going to be a mighty struggle for me.
How'd you do?
I hear ya. In fact, I posted almost the same frustration on my profile earlier today. I've been walking/jogging up to 30-35 miles a week, eating right most of the time and no reward on the weight loss. Sometimes I almost feel like giving up, but I don't. I keep telling myself that it's a lifestyle change and it doesn't matter how long it takes. But, even knowing that, you'd think we see even 1 lb for goodness sakes!
You have done great and we can't let a little thing like a plateau spoil it for us. We'll just keep on keeping on. Do what we know is right and eventually we'll be rewarded!
Geez....remember when we freaked if we went 4 days without a weight loss?! I look back and chuckle now.
