Crashed my new car last night.

Yes, I pulled my 2006 Toyota RAV4 out in front of a 2006 BMW M5 and got t-boned last night. Thankfully, neither of us were hurt. Our new cars (mine has 4500 miles, his has 5900 miles) sure don't look new anymore. Luckily, he hit his brakes and didn't hit me as hard as he would have...I may have been killed, since he hit me on the driver's side. So scary...I really did not see him...I'm okay and that is the main thing. It took police 2 hrs 45 minutes to respond to the scene. It was very hot, then we had a rain and wind storm and got very hot again before they showed up. I had a bottle of water with me that I drank within the first 1/2 hour. I was so dehydrated and hungry...but, again, no one was hurt. Woke me up. Lori

That is very sweet Mary...I had the accident on Wednesday night. It is now Friday and I'm not sore. I was worried I may be too as I took quite a jolt. I'm so glad I had my seat belt on and that the guy hit is brakes and didn't hit me as hard as he could have. It is a wake up call for safe driving, that is for sure! Lori

Stacy, Luckily, I'm not sore at all! They are ordering the parts for my car, it is so new that they have to get them from the manufacturer. I take my car in on Tuesday and they will give me a rental...it is a bit of a rattle trap, but, driveable in the meantime. Lori
