Talk me down...
okay so I'm not on a ledge or anything. Heck, I live on the ground floor. But talk me down from hitting the fridge cuz it's calling my name.
Stressor #1: Side pain has resurfaced after a lull. Of course it shows up the afternoon after I see the doc in the morning (yesterday) and continues today. Ouch.
Stressor #2: I went to Safeway. Nuff said. Our Safeway is the most understaffed store in the world. There are ALWAYS and I repeat ALWAYS lines at the registers. No matter the day of the week or time of day. It is pathetic. So today I went and got a few things and abandoned my basket and came home incensed and sent management an email complaining about 'em. Should have done that a few years ago not that it would help. But at least I vented.
Stressor #3: Doctor's office called at 4:58. Of course, no chance to call them back today. They have lab results for me and the doc wanted the nurse to deliver it. Usually the doc uses a VoiceMed recording thingie where you can call in and get the recorded results. Figure that the nurse calling wasn't a good sign. We were mostly checking my dang liver enzymes which have been elevated for several months. They were very high when I had the chest pains and was hospitalized. And then dropped down but still are elevated. Next step on that is liver specialist and a biopsy? I'm just so not into that. So now I wait until tomorrow to get the results. Ack.
So, talk me down from raiding the fridge and gorging myself on cheese.

Step away from the fridge....
Its not gonna help to stuff your face... just make you feel worse...
maybe your enzymes are the same and they want to discuss them...
maybe the dr thingy is not working and the nurse is calling everyone.
Safeway... good for you.... maybe you will get a response from management... Dont people realize you can go anywhere for items... its the customer service that makes a company stand out....
Pain... hmmmm,. did you ever get any good results from you med switchup?? I wish they could figure it out for you!!

Howdy! I hope you were able to resist the evil pull of the fridge! And I hope you get in touch with your doc today and Stephanie's right - no change, just want to discuss... Liver biopsy....ewwww.... doesn't sound too thrilling...
As for Safeway... yeah, we have the same problem here... I gave up on them, switched to Walmart - sometimes they aren't the best, either, when it comes to long lines.
