Who was active today or plans to be later today? I went to the gym this morning and did my lower body weight machines followed by my heart rate strength training program which is 1 hour on the treadmill. If you think that is alot - it was the slowest 1 hour of my life. I did 2.27 miles in that 1 hour. That is the pace that it takes to keep my heart rate where my sheets say to keep it. Very frustrating when you are of the mindset that the harder-you-push the better-it-is. I will say that I did the same workout on Sunday and did 2.09 miles that day so that means that I'm fine tuning it better and am able to do more with less heart rate perhaps. Tomorrow I'll do upper body weight machines and then do my 1 hour of my heart rate speed training. This is done at one incline level rather than variable like the strength training. I'll post some details of what I'm doing when I get the chance. Kathy

I did 35 minutes of cardio on the elliptical and got my heart rate up to my cardio range. I then did some abs, stretched my hips (did I tell you I found out I have bursitis in my right hip?), and went home. Overall, it was a good workout. Always good to clear my head after work. I go home exhausted but in a much better mood Angie

Angie, How do you know if you have bursitis? I may have it in my hip and my shoulder. Lori

Kath, an hour on the treadmill, regardless of the speed, is tremendous! Keep up the excellent work!

I didn't do step aerobics as planned. I had ordered a new Leslie Sansone DVD and it arrived yesterday, so I did 4 mile Walk Away the Pounds - the last two miles incorporated weight lifting intervals. Felt good.
