Hello My fellow Mayers, Its been quite some time since I have been on the board. I have been going through but I am working it out. I just had a moment to peek in and see how everyone is doing. All of you look fabulous. I have not updated in so long maybe I can get around to it since my life seems to be slowing down somewhat. Lets see since I was last here on the board my oldest son got married on Easter Sunday a evening service, my baby girl graduated from high school and was a debutante, and my middle son joined the Navy. He is in boot camp now so please say a prayer for him. I have not been utilizing my tool as I should be of course (I have been under a tremendous amount of stress). I think this my first step in getting back on track. I have not gained as matter of fact I have continued to loose, for the life of me I don't know how. I had to go back on my diabetes medication as of today and they are going to do some test on my pancreas. They found to cyst in my breast that hurt like hell but on the upside of things my doctor says that I can go see a plastic surgeon for my breast reduction as soon as I am cleared by the breast cancer specialist. Anyway I feel great and everyone says I look fabulous. I will update my profile as soon as I can. I really missed everyone and its great to be back on board Andrea

Welcome back, Andrea! So great to have you here! Sounds like your life has been very busy and stressful. I wish much luck to your children in their new life directions. Wow...so much all in a short period of time. Best wishes on your visit to the breast cancer specialist. Hope that your cyst remains just that... an annoying but most benign cyst. Let us know how the tests on your pancreas go. I know that many folks post-op have low blood sugar but I have heard of someone who went back on meds. This is a woman in one of my support groups. She hasn't regained weight but had to go back on her insulin. I hope your doctor gives you some answers. I cannot wait to see new pictures. I thought you looked pretty fabulous with the pictures that are already up. Take care! Kathy

Hello Andrea ! Greetings. Glad you dropped by to visit us. Hope to see ya around again soon. You look really lovely . Yes, this board is a great support. Sorry you had to go back on your meds. You noted about not using your 'tool' . I think we all struggle with that daily. Reviewing your daily eating habits and exercising may be a key in lowering the blood sugar levels. Some friends of mine find that if they increase their exercise alone, the sugar drops. Sometimes just avoiding the refined foods like sugars or non-whole wheat items can do the trick. I hope you find what will bring it down soon and are returned to health. I will be praying for you with your cyst as well as your pancreas testing and diabetes. Thanks for sharing news about your kids. We will keep your son in our prayers too ( boot camp is hard ). Congratulations to your newlywed son and your graduate daughter ! Mom's job is almost over at least the daily juggling act when they were all home
