Blackmarket Nectar Protein

I'm waiting on a mail order of protein but am running very low so hubby tried to pick me up a jug of Nectar Lemon Tea at the Vitamin Shoppe a few days ago. Actually he tried two locations. Both cupboards were bare for my protein but both stores expected shipments. He went to the one location again today and no - they hadn't gotten any in their shipment as they expected. The manager told him that they think this is one of the items being stolen out of their warehouse in Baltimore. So, I guess there is a blackmarket for Nectar Lemon Tea out there. Guess I should check eBay and see if anyone is the Balitmore area is selling a bunch of it and sic the police on 'em. Kathy

Kathy, Maybe the online Vitamin Shoppe would overnight it to you because you are unable to get it locally on THEIR dime ( stress the shops you visited in persuit ) . Might be worth asking. After all you are a regualr customer and spend $ there faithfully. Hope ya get some soon. Mary

I've noticed that some VS stores are not going to carry the 2lb tubs of nectar anymore, & those stores will only be carring the Nectar "grab & go" containers, which have 21 servings. Several VS stores in nyc stopped carring the 2lb tubs already. Thankfully, there are still 2 that do! I wrote the company, but i guess it's based on sales & the size of the store. good luck
