Well, I made it thro...
Well, I made it through my daughter's open house!!! WHEW!! Now I'm on to preparing for our yard sale this weekend. Yard sale this weekend, next week we'll be up north cleaning and painting the new house, then the week after that moving!!! It'll be good to have it done with, but i'm not looking forward to all the work inbetween.
I'm successfully holding my weight. I'm very glad for that. Although I have been eatting some bad things lately. I had chicken salad on croisants at the open house, I think I had three of them that day. Thank God the croisants are gone and now I'm just eating the chicken salad on a bed of baby spinach leaves (much better for me). Also COOKIES - OMGSH!!!!! I bought cheap walmart cookies too. I never dreamed that they'd be a problem - They were a problem!!!!! Im sure I ate 8 - 10 cookies over the entire day...they were so darn addicting!! Those are gone and out of the house too. Won't be buying anymore of those. We had TONS of pop, but that doesnt interest me in the slightest. I made a 3 gal. thing of decaf ice tea and that's what I had.
So everyone - BEWARE of the open houses!!!!! LOL
Hugs,
Laurie
Hey there Laurie! Yeah, you survived the open house...crossaints!!! Yum!!! Thanks for the warning. I haven't gone to any parties or anything but I was thinking how tough it was for me surviving Kindergarten this year!!! Cupcakes, cookies, cake for bday celebrations and we had a daily snack the kids brought (which were sometimes sinful foods like Little Debbies, Ding dongs, etc.) I'm so glad it's summer and I don't have to worry about those extra snacks. I've actually shed 2 pounds since school got out last week...I think it's the business of summer and probably my move too. It's very busy. I've been trying to find child care for my little one who has always been taken care of by my mom, trying to get new pediatricians, ob/gyn, etc. I forget all the things that you have to do when you move. It's a pain!!!
Keep on drinking that decaf tea...I love it!!
