Heading Off To Camp On Sunday
Wow...a year has passed and I am off to my really really cool summer job as a camp nurse for the next week. It is a wonderful YMCA camp ion the NC mountains and my daughter gets to go for free in exchange for my working. So...do I tell these people about my surgery if they ask?? Or do I just tell them I went on a diet?? They are young and may just not get the whole WLS thing!!! I may just skip the surgery thing........I would always tell anyone who I thought myay benefit from the info!
What do ya'll think????
Jen
PS I can't wait to participate in all the awesome things I have had to pass up the past 2 years!!!
Have a blast, Jen! Have fun doing all those things that you've wanted to in the past. I cannot wait to hear about the reaction you get from folks and the things you were able to do this year.
Ummm, whether to tell or not. Geez. That's a hard one. I know that you would be able to explain the surgery well to anyone - no matter the age. Kids do watch TV and such and probably have heard about the surgery anyway so it might not be that foreign a thing for them. Oh I dunno.
Enjoy your week!

I hope you have a great time and enjoy the compliments and ooh's and ahh's as they see the New Jen. We do appreciate you here Jen. We were visiting in the NC mountains just a couple of months ago. It was soooo beautiful there. About your question: I sort of go by instinct. If I feel led to share about the wls with certain people I do - but with some ...it just doesn't feel right to bring up. I say you will probably just know when and if to share. best wishes,
Mary
