Look at you pretty lady! I'm still recovering from the flu but I did a ton of yard work, (kept taking A/C breaks too!) I'm moving Lori! And LOVING my core ball. I promise I'm going to work on that later! And my pool is up! Just have to get the chemicals all balanced and I will be swimming and doing water excersizes allll summer long, I loved it last year. Look at the new lovely picture of Lori! Yea, baby! Yet another great workout for our exercise motivator. As for me... Cycle: 20 minutes to the tune of 5.89 miles. (5 minutes at level 10, 5 minutes at level 9, etc) Owie! Abs exercises Lunchtime: 3 laps around the building in the heat. My tan is improving though. Kathy

Thanks Kathy, I'll get the full body one added to my profile soon. I think the way you are breaking up your exercise is great. I think that is what has got my weight loss started again is by having 2 sessions each day. Lori

Lori, Just like your working so very hard to get your 10,000 steps in a day i*****hing up the exercise enough to get things moving, I think that my adding in walking laps at lunch or trips up and down the stairs and occassionally a walk when I get home is doing something for me too. This stuff is on top of what I was already doing in the mornings so it really extra and bonus workouts like yours. While I haven't seen any smaller numbers on the scale per se... if you look at my weight chart on my profile my weight the last 4 weigh-ins (Fridays) all have been under 170 so my weight has been basically staying below that number (by a hair some of the time!!) That is definitely a change from last month. Ultimately, I think keeping this up... that I will see a (very, very) gradual decline in weight. I did some rough measurements and I think I'm getting some shrinkage and I'll take inches without pounds any day. I'm super hydrated this afternoon (tons of water today) and my body fat % this afternoon is 27%. I think that is the lowest I've seen. Of course, first thing this morning... it was 35%. Quite a difference, eh? I usually go with the well hydrated afternoon reading. Wonder why? Do you have your BMR testing this coming Friday? I'm very interested in hearing how it's done and what you find out. We go on the morning of the 17th so it is still several weeks away. Congrats on the moving scale. I noticed. I know you knew I noticed. Kathy

Hi Kathy, I got my 1 year labs done this morning. I won't know the results until I get back from my vacation. I'm getting the BMR test done this Friday. I think she said she will give me the results at the end of the test. No waiting. So, I will let you know how it goes before I leave town. How does hydration affect body fat percentages? I do mine in the morning on the same day I weigh. I've been running at 40% body fat. I'm not very hydrated at 5 am. Lori

Lori, I bet you'd find that if you read your bodyfat in the afternoon after being well hydrated that it would be more in the 33-35% range based on how mine differs. Hydration makes a big difference. Kathy

Hey Lori! Your picture is incredible! Lookin' good! Today, I hit the gym for cardio. I did 45 minutes on the elliptical and some ab work. Will see my trainer tomorrow. And you guys are right -- it is all about stepping it up and pushing our limits to get results. There's no reason why we can't! Angie
