My One Year...

Was yesterday but I have been in bed with the flu since Thursday. Tore my little persnickity pouch UP! I lost 10 pounds while being sick though, and I am smiling at that. I've lost 146 pounds, (322 to 176) 11 pounds to goal and I truly do not care if I get there. I am more making it my goal to excersize more and become fit. I have lost 88" from the usual measuring places (neck, arms, bust, waist, hips, thighs, calves) I am still having terrible issues with food, of course made worse by the bug. This is not a happy, I'm so proud day for me. I do not have any energy and can actually feel myself growing weaker instead of stronger. I know once my pouch issues are fixed I will be better. And excersizing more will make me feel stronger too! But I am happy I have lot the weight. Thank you May people, y'all have always given me great support, and advice, sometimes without you ever knowing it, just by you posting on this board. Thank GOD for OH.com eh? I posted a new picture of me and Allie on her birthday taken earlier this month on my profile if anyone would like to see it. I cannot believe how blown up I use to look and never knew it! I do thank God for getting me here, and guiding me to a healthier new life. I wish you all a lifetime of happiness much love, Barb

Hey, Barb! Sorry to hear about the flu. While losing 10 lbs is possibly a good thing, the manner in which you did it....probably isn't. No wonder you don't feel good and feel weak. And yes, when you get your pouch fixed you will feel better. You are not going to gain. You'll be better nourished and feel stronger and will be able to do more. I hope that is very, very soon. I'mdefinitely getting to feel the same as you about the scale. What I'm really shooting for at this point is getting my body fat down and getting more tone and more fit. If that means lower scale value fine, if not - that's fine too. Your new picture is wonderful! WOW! We wish you and yours a lifetime of happiness too! Kathy

Well Barb, sometimes the ride is bumpy for sure, isn't it??? You have been a trooper. Glad you have dropped so much weight and because of that feel better in so many ways. It's sad you have had such trouble with your pouch. I hope you can get the endo soon so the doc can see what's up. Guess the flu didn't make it any easier on the grouchie pouchie. Sorry to hear you and your little one have been ill with it. May you recover rapidly and I pray the pouch trouble is remedied asap. You are a blessing. Good to have you along side for the journey Your new pic is so cute and you and your daughter are taking quite the 'pose'. Daughters can bring out the playful side of us, huh? Mary
