Gym Is Open (Memorial Day)
So, it is Monday already. I've had quite a weekend doing some fun stuff and catching up on chores. I kept putting off getting on the computer until I accomplished certain things...so I never made it on.
I hope you all have had a good holiday weekend. I got in a whole lot of exercise. On Friday night, I walked 3.3 miles. On Saturday, I worked with my trainer for 1.5 hours. She gave me a bunch of new core workout stuff. It was raining all day, so I went back to the gym in the evening and walked for an hour on the treadmill, to get in my 10,000 steps for the day. On Sunday, I went to a 2 hour yoga class...oh my god was it hard!!!! Everything hurt! I will go back. It is only taught on Sundays so I won't be able to go for a month because of my radio show and upcoming vacation, but, I will try to do it a couple of times a month.
Now, I'm headed to the gym to do the workout I learned on Saturday.
What did you do to move your body this weekend and today?

I wish I was more productive this weekend...that's for sure.
But today... I've gotten the bed linen/mattress pad all washed and dried and back on the bed. Towels are in the dryer along with a few other things. Got the dishwasher ready to go after I eat dinner. Wiped down alot on the kitchen counter that needed it. Refilled our protein canisters. Made iced tea. Boiled some eggs for eating or deviling later. Make some cold cut rollups.
This is all since noon. Before noon was the gym, veggie shopping and food shopping.
Hope to get more done tonight. I'm on a tear...

I did 45 minutes on the elliptical and kept my heart rate in the cardio range nearly the entire time. Did some ab work, and then headed home to spend a lovely day with my hubby. BTW, my 45 minutes on the elliptical was something like 6000 strides -- that's gotta count for something in the 10,000 steps a day!
