Long over due update

Well it sure has a been a long time since I have updated. A lot has happened. First I am down to 305, on my scale that is. In February I spent 2 weeks in the in the hospital, not related to the surgery. Then I was out of town in March and then I had foot surgery April 10 which laid me up for 6 weeks. I am just getting back on my feet. It isn't healing the way the doc would like it to, so I don't know exactly what is going to happen yet. I have a summer vacation I want to plan going to the coast with the family, so I hope the bone starts healing soon. I have been dealing with alot of the emotional issues with the surgery and my personal life in general. I gave up on the secret pal program, dispite being in the hospital I still sent my secret pal something, but my secret pal did nothing after the 1st of the year. So I guess it wasn't meant to be, on less thing to take care of. But I hope my secret pal liked the book about moms that I got her. And whoever my secret pal was thanks for all the greats things. Well I can't be out pf bed too long on my foot for long so I better get off of it. I hope this message find everyone well, talk to you all again soon.

Hi there, Congratulations on your weight loss. You've done great! Sorry for all the illness you have had to struggle thru. Hope you can go and enjoy your trip to the coast. I pray you may have the bone heal well and be able to really enjoy the benefits of losing so much weight and feeling freer to get out and about. Sad your secret pal experience was so disappointing for you. I never joined in because I am so forgetful I was afraid I'd drop the ball and hurt someones heart. Thanks for updating with us. Hey Slimming Spud! And I say that with affection because I was born and raised in Boise! I attended Centennial High School and University of Idaho. I've been in Las Vegas for the past 13 years with my hubby. I was just back in Boise last weekend to visit family. I sure do miss the great weather in Boise (although I don't miss the mosquitos!). Anyway, it sounds like your journey has been good overall. I wish you the best with your foot recovery, and enjoy the coast. I love going to the Oregon coast, too! Angie

Congratulations on your weight loss. Sometimes these foot surgeries can take quite awhile to heal. I had ingrown toe nail surgery and it took forever to heal! It probably has to do with not having as good as circulation in the foot when you are overweight. Keep up the good work. I hope your foot heals and your health improves! Lori 384/236.5/199
