Congrats on all your progress this year. Thanks for providing inspiration to so many of us especially when it comes to working out. I know that I for one, needed it.

P.S. 15 minutes on the cycle... 4.something miles, I forget. LOL! Abs, abs and more abs.
Jan,
As you may have noticed from my post, my knee kept me from the gym this morning. I just finished my 3rd synvisc shot yesterday. My knee was really hurting before the shot, it made it worse. But, temporarily. My doctor told me my problem is that I'm exercising beyond fatigue. I know he is right, but, it is so easy to do. I do the gym thing in the morning, then because I wear a pedometer and feel obsessed with trying to get in my 10,000+ steps a day, I take a walk at night. I walk along a beautiful canal road with ducks, wearing my iPod listening to great books. I turn around when I feel tired, but, then I have to walk all the way home...he told me to knock that off and time myself and walk back before I'm dragging.
I'm sorry you have insurance limitations, I work at a hospital and see it all the time. I really hate it that we have this problem in our country.
Hang in there.
Lori
I did some time on the bike, treadmill and the walking track. I went to the doc today and he said giving me a shot wouldn't help because it's not arthritis its tendonitis. So he wanted to give me physical therapy but I have medicaid and they don't pay for pt unless you are a child. So I have to wait for 2 months til my medicare kicks in and then I can do pt until then I'm to take it easy so he said no more bike or treadmill I can do the track or swim.
