Am I the only one here?
Good luck with the upcoming job interview. I'm sure once summer is on and they figure out who isn't coming back... there will be more openings to be filled.
Best wishes to your brother on his competition. That is just too funny. I'm sure it will be a blast and if I lived close by... I'd be there. Gay men do know how to have fun. One of Rich's coworkers and his partner have a holiday party every year and it is just fabulous.
Have fun dancing! I wish I felt up to dancing but one of these days...

Hey there!
I just got back to the real world. My hubbie and I flew up to Boise for the weekend. Most of our family lives there, and we went to celebrate my birthday and surgiversary. On Friday, my sister flew in from Portland, and we worked out with my Mom and her trainer. That night, we dressed up, went to a tapas restaurant, and saw The *****cat Dolls and Black Eyed Peas. It's so great to have a strong relationship with my sister and mom. I love that we like the same things!
On Saturday, I had a great massage, and then we had a barbecue party to celebrate my birthday and surgiversary. There were about 35 people there, and I was so proud of myself, that I showed my before pictures to everyone. I even got to see my best friends from college, which was a real treat. We had a very healthy menu for the party, and everyone loved it. We had huge grilled salmon fillets on the barbie, tiger bites (chicken breast stuffed with green chili's, wrapped in a piece of bacon, and grilled in Tiger sauce), baked beans, pasta salad (w/spinach, edimame, etc.), chili lime coleslaw (vinaigrette dressing instead of mayo), shrimp ****tail, and fresh fruit & yogurt for dessert. It was so great!
Sunday, I went shopping with my Mom and we saw a movie. Overall, it was a fabulous weekend of celebrating, and I didn't even feel weird about all the attention on me! My hubbie would probably roll his eyes if he heard me say that!
