Locker Room Switch

Today at the gym, they swapped the locker rooms because they were getting painted and the painters are men. So while the men were painting the ladies locker room - it would become the men's locker room and vice versa. The gym had a note on the front counter for a few days warning of this for today only. They had a sign on each locker room door however they always have signs there and people on autopilot aren't going to read them. Rich and I go to the gym and hope that folks know and he goes into the ladies locker room and me into the mens. All so far, so good. I did go to the front desk and suggest that she put a big sign on each door saying LADIES ROOM and MENS ROOM. She says someone else suggested it earlier but she did it. I was working the leg machines and see a man pause at the sign but he headed right into the mens locker room which is the ladies room today. So, I ran in there and told him. He seemed oblivious. After working out I go in there and decide I'll do all my dressing back by the shower "just in case". People don't read things! Plus the gal at the counter who was playing with her PC could EASILY have told everyone as they came in just to reinforce the signs that have been up all week but NO, she did nothing. I go into the locker room and get my stuff set up by the shower and go back to get my bottle of water and there is a gent in a locker. I told him the saga - he turned crimson and got out of dodge as fast as he human could have. After he settled in the ladies locker room he went to the desk and told the gal he was so embarrassed. I ended up being fine showering and such. For security reasons...I opted to dry off and dress in the empty sauna (not on obviously). What a day... hope the gym got their act together later in the day. Kathy

Oh bizarre! I was at a concert a couple of weeks ago and using the facilities before the show started. A pair of feet got into the stall next to me -- facing the wrong way. I recognized him from his shoes later on and high tailed it away from him so he wouldn't recognize mine. Eileen
