May Rear-End Challenge

For lack of a better title, I thought I'd revise the idea of a 13th month challenge to a "rear-end" of May challenge so that folks can all work with the same time period rather than some starting on their surgiversary and folks being spread all over the month. So... (deep breath)... with that said, perhaps a bi-monthly challenge can ensue from here on out. You know like do a 1st to the 15th and then 16th through the end of the month type thing. For the rear-end of May (snicker), Rich and I are going to do this following: 1. Eliminate soda/any carbonated drinks 2. Eliminate sugar alcohols (unless from a protein bar) - no SF candies, cookies or ice cream 3. Eliminate white carbs We'll do this from now to May 31st. Then we'll figure out if we stick to this or modify it for the first half of June challenge. Folks don't have to go with these challenges but obviously you can. Pick your own "demons" and address them, if you dare. Who is up for the task? And what specific things do you want to work on? Eating? Drinking? Exercise? Water? Vitamins? Name your poison.... Kathy

I'm certainly "rear-end challenged" (where'd it go?) Gad, this is like Lent -- giving something up ... I think I'll give up bowling ... nah, seriously, My challenge is to get back to using FitDay and tracking everything I eat. This is good stuff Kathy. Eileen (Excuse the silly nature of this ... I've been up all night working and am sitting on a teleconference right now (about 4 AM) waiting for hardware repairs on one of our big servers.)

"Rear-end challenged" The bottom half of my arse has been replaced by a Shar-pei. Please no one throw a stick or anything. I understand the "all nighter" thing. I've been in the computer field for 24 years next month. Done those all nighter things a time or two or two dozen or more. Silly can be good. Punchy can be fun. Good luck on your hardware repairs. Hope your server is up and running again soon. My BIL spends Christmas time on teleconferences every 2-3 hours. He works for Sirius Satellite Radio and with all the new subscriptions coming online over the holidays they do alot of monitoring of the help line calls, online activations, server loads, etc. Me, I do work for HUD. If you've heard of FHA Mortgages... I work on the system that tracks them. Kathy

My rear end challenge is to.....stay on my diet. Lately I have been eating anything and everything. I will monitor my eating on sparkpeople.com. It has a lot of good features. I need to do this or I won't meet my goal by the time I see my surgeon on June 23. Jan
