Hey All, Lisa said something that made me think there may be many Maysters who have dropped off the radar screen....and may feel un-noticed or forgotten.
If that is the case for you PLEASE come on back. We are not a click and our arms are open to you all. Many of us are struggling with difficult issues and not the least of them emotional eating and grazing. If we have become self absorbed and have neglected anyone ...please know it was not deliberate or intentional in any way. I have noticed on the surgery months of several of my wls friends that there is a huge drop in posting action as people begin to get healthier and thinner and start to really dive into their lives. When we all were Morbidly Obese (hate that term ! ) We more or less sat back and watched life go by. Moving around was painful and when we did get a little active we sweat like ...well you know. Now that we are beginning to feel so much better and even younger we are spending more time in activities with our husbands and children and grandchildren and friends. We are emerging from our cocoon and learning to fly. Granted some days we can't seem to get off our perch but we are beginning to truly live. A slogan the Park and Planning Dept. uses is " Life - BE IN IT ! " I am one who is beginning to BE IN IT. It feels so good to be able to get around with 85% less pain and even be able to go bike riding again
We want to roll out the RED CARPET to anyone of our Maysters who feel left behind and welcome you back to journal with us and walk alongside of us. To share your victories and your sorrows and bumps along the road. We are not an exclusive club but a very INCLUSIVE warm welcoming support system and safety net. Accept our aoplogies if we have hurt anyone or slighted you. We need each other and together we can do what we could never do alone. Sincerely, Mary
