my surgiversary!
Soo... today is 1 year post-op... I can't believe how the time has flown!! What a year. Boy, do I feel like a new women. People say you look great... I say you know what I FEEL great! That is what is truly rewarding. I can walk without being winded and tired. I can play with my kids(3 year old triplets) for hours and have FUN?? My husband... he is so happy about my weight loss... he can't keep his hands off me....LOL....
I am sooo grateful for this weight loss... I still want more of course.... and my journey is still ongoing... (somehow I think it always will be) I am thankful for all of your support! I am also really thankful for my 2 support groups I attend and all the wonderful people I have met in this past year. I love you all and I could not have gotten this far without you!
My special thanks is really to my husband... who truly was there for me...without his support I would not be here today.
He held my hand... he knew this was hard... he was scared... but never truly showed it.... he dealt with the kids after my surgery when I could not physically take care of them...We just shared our 6th wedding anniversary 10 days ago.... so he says to me... you know I never thought you would be more beautiful then you were on our wedding day... and not many husbands can say that... that was a nice "WOW" moment.... for sure!
And I think I really need to thank my Doctor... Marina Kurian... without her skill and compassion I would not be here today! She is truly top notch... THE BOMB!!!
