I made the century club!
Good Morning Mayster's,
I went for my 1 year checkup yesterday and was very pleased! I have officially joined the Century Club and am now just OverWeight! What a difference 1 year can make, I look at my pictures and cant believe that was really me. It is so much easier now to run up stairs, walk up hills and get down on the floor to play with my grand babies!
Not to mention that my husband is crazy about all my new curves LOL you see he married me at my highest weight and had never seen me skinny, neither have my kids for that matter. Its a strange feeling sometimes to have all the changes going on and being proud of them happening but also feeling bad that they are happening for me and yet my sister is still heavy and fighting depression and my daugher is following in my footsteps where we hit our 20's gain weight, have babies gain more weight and no matter what we do it just wont leave. I am now in a size 12 smaller then my oldest daughter and almost in the same size shirts as my youngest daughter. Yikes who would have thought I could have done that one year ago.. not me! I just wanted to get down to a size 16 maybe a 14.
I have a PS consult later this month for the Big Chest that has not gotten any smaller and will ask about Tummy, Arms and Thighs, the doc yesterday said I look like a snake that is about ready to lose my skin LOL it is all wrinkely around my tummy its a good thing I like him soooo much! LOL
Well sorry to have made you read all this but had to let you know that this Mayster is one happy camper and love reading about all of our success's and stories of our lives, you guys are great!

Glad your check-up went so well Jody,
Congratulations on making the century club too. That's a WOW for sure !!! Appreciate you sharing your story. Your stepping forward may be a gift to your family in many ways. Your example that there IS a way out of the pit of obesity and the accompanying depression. And hey, isn't it great when the hubby is delighted with the new dimentions??? It brings out a sunny smile to be delighted in. ;)
