Well honestly my husband calls it my pot of cabbage and crap...i usually cook my cabbage first then add either hamburger meat or chicken and then different things chicken broth..lots of it and some crushed tomatoes and sometimes cream of broccoli or just brocolli and carrots and celery i just keep throwing things in the pot until it either is full or i am totally satisfied with the taste and the girls at work eat with me every day so either i make the pot of soup for the week or she does and i eat it every day with a blue bunny yogurt...i love my soup i try to make them thicker so they stick longer but i havent had any problems with hunger so they are doing okay so far i just want to get past the 200 mark but honestly i think i am not getting enough calories so i am trying to up them ....well see it seems like i lose on the mondays after i eat more on the weekends so maybe i dont eat enough during the week..but my friend at work makes this awesome soup with chicken...and her pot of crap is way better than mine...i just put different stuff i like in it until i like it...i make about a pot every two weeks i will get her recipe for you tomrrow and email it to you or post it on here...sorry about the spelling but i dont have much time and figure you guys will forgive me...thanks for all you inspiration and your help i love you guys and this place ....i couldnt do this without you....i need to update my pic..you all are some hot mamas....i will do that this weekend..keep me posted and talk to you in the morning...

yep, I've got an ouchie backside too...and my knees against each other laying in bed and I bumped into a wall with my shoulder about a week ago and that still hurts...guess its the price we pay for less padding...wish i had a remedy for it, maybe we'll eventually get used to it. Shanna

I saw my surgeon yesterday. I've lost 110 lbs. He's very happy with my progress and feels certain I'll lose another 30 or 35. Like so many post here, I'm exceedingly blessed to have had this surgery. It has changed my life. I feel normal again. I feel like I fit in with people. I'm finally only overweight on the BMI scale! Thanks for all the advice and support I get from reading this message board. Blessings to everyone on this journey no matter what stage you're in. Melissa 270/160/125 5'2''

Hey sweetie!! LOL yes it is my 3rd meal of spaghetti!! I love spaghetti, but I have had about enough. Im not a great cook, and dont like to spend a long time cooking, or using tons of dishes to cook one meal. Guess that might be the lazy side of me. I make big batches of food, cuz my dear hubby will eat then 10 min later its cereal then candy then chips, then im hungry again, lol. Plus I hate throwing food away seeming as we dont have alot of money for it, so I shove leftovers on everyone till its gone, lol. Usually they will have the leftovers for lunch the next day but they have been so busy fishing and building a new shed, that it didnt get eaten up so fast. What i dream of is a nice cook to come in my house and make healthy meals for me and my family, lol. I would make it my chore to not bring any snacks or junk in the house, and buy the ingredients the great cook would need to make the meals. But Im far from rich, and I dont see anyone knocking down my door to cook these healthy meals, so I will quit dreaming, haha. Have a great evening and see you all tomorrow for our food posts- Melissa
